Always~ it's an awesome picture, after all~ I definitely wouldn't want to be treated by him o.O Are you sure you're not into hetalia? I would love you even more if you were (I'm probably the 14000th person telling you that, but your style and the anime fit! xD)~ Good!
Well, it's not really historical events...the show itself is not very historical or educative or whatever, but the fanworks are amazing. Fanfictions capture history a lot, fanart is often better than the actual comic, fancomics dealing with the history of a certain character are very detailed, etc., etc. And then of course there's your own imagination, where you can adapt the hetalia country to your knowledge of the actual country and it's interactions with other countries (historical canon) Of course, they...uhm...baby-fy (you can't say that, but whatever)the second world war, but really, you can just watch the show to get some of the insiders, like that Prussia has a bird with him all the time, or that Canada is invisible or whatever. And also, some canon pairings from the show make no historical sense whatsoever (shudder), and might confuse you, like Germany/Italy, which historically doesn't make much sense, but does appear in the show.
I apologize for that wall of text ^^" I get very passionate when it comes to getting people into hetalia~
Oh, and Russia from Hetalia is my second favourite character~ (because you're Russian...and...all...that was lame. I'm still gonna write it xD)
That's what I meant by jokes based on history))) But I guess I'll check it out finally Germany x Italy? Why not, they spent some time together during wwI. Yup I saw Prussia, I find him a very interesting character Very... Impressing, I'd say.
Never mind, I like chatting in comments too
Oh hell I hate USSR and what became of Russia after that.
Yaay~ Well then, yeah, they make jokes about history, but at least a part of the hetalia crowd knows the weight behind some of the events. And then Italy betrayed Germany (or at least that's what we're taught...I need to get done with the 19th century until I can move on to the world wars xD), so doesn't really make a lovey-dovey couple for me xD But that's just my opinion You should draw him He's awesome. He really is. Not only his character, but his actual country~ Or rather, his history. It's, as you said, impressive I'm pretty (but not completely) sure that he has the most dedicated fanbase, as in, his fans learn about his history and stuff like that. Or at least that's how I explain the Fritz x Prussia pairing xD
I can understand. I've always been impressed of Russia and it's weird thing of defeating former world powers and the fact that it's so big and cold (what high standards I have xD), but I doubt living there is fun. Russia has a very sad history. I don't know for sure, but I don't think Russia had any time where living in it was awesome (well, maybe under Elisabeth, and maybe Catherine the Great, though I think she burned down some villages at some point...), but that's also why Russia (the character) appears a bit...cracked, so to say. And scary. Anyhow, I don't want to make you feel bad about where you live *sweat drop* btw, I live in Austria~
I think I'm drawing Gilbert) As soon as I have time. Probably, with Ludwig. I'll finally re-create those beautiful faces of German soldiers I saw in old pictures *evil laughter*
Yes, Russia is fun to watch and no fun to live in) The problem is not even in those who rule, it's in the nation itself, in people - the way they think, the way they treat each other and everything. Well, I'm not sure you want to read all this my "I don't like people who surround me" crap.
Oh Austria must be a beautiful country) I haven't visited it yet, but I'm planning to) At university we've learnt a lot about the capital, Vienna) It was our "emergency" examination topic, in case we forget everything else Yup and I love German language, but I can hardly speak it *fail* I guess I sound stupid... I just like chatting
I wouldn't schedule an appointment with him, but hell I'd stick around the secretarial office to joke around with him at his lunch breaks. Despite the most likely idea that he's psychotic in the ER, he has to be the most loved doctor there. He looks so brilliantly passionate.
